Where to eat in NY

It’s crazy how fast time flies. It feels like I just recovered from the last Fashion Weeks and I already started the preparations for next season. Flights, hotels, restaurants and outfits. Speaking of  restaurants. I promised you to review the Paramount Bar & Grill. The restaurant nestled in the Paramount Hotel NY.

The hotel is located in the heart of NYC’s Theater District, near to Times Square, there are many many restaurants located in this district. But in our opinion it was hard to find a good restaurant. (I mean: no hot dog, burger bars or greasy pizza restaurants). If you are searching for a good and affordable restaurant I really recommend the Paramount Bar & Grill to you.

The menu is inspired by classic American dishes, Executive Chef, Jason Kallert has created a nostalgic menu. The menu consist of appetizers: from Steak Tartar, Caesar Salad, Creamy Tomato Soup till Meatballs and classic salads. The main entrees include meat or fish: Atlantic Salmon, Chicken Pot Pie, Short Rib Pot Roast or Burger Deluxe. We started with the Curried Tuna Tartar and the Steak Tartar. For the main entree we chose the 28 Day Aged Strip dish and the Rib Pot Roast. After these dishes and two delicious cocktails (the Paramount Bar & Grill is also a very good spot to enjoy cocktails) we were satisfied but we couldn’t resist looking at the dessert menu. We decided to order and share the Icebox Cake (chocolate wafers, roasted peanuts, salted caramel). Which was super super good. Great food, good ambiance and attentive and excellent service.
