It has been a crazy month. I came back from Paris last Monday. I’m still recovering from the Fashion Week marathon. The first 2 days in Amsterdam I couldn’t handle make-up, heels, clothes (except pyjamas) and I only wanted to eat fruit and vegetables. But now after one week I’m starting to miss fashion week and especially NYC. If you follow me on instagram you might have seen the pictures from the shows, my outfits, the food and cocktails, the crazy nights with Alessandro and our adventures in The Paramount hotel NY.
I want to tell you more about this hotel, because I really recommend it and I know it’s always difficult to find an affordable, good and well located stay in NY. This was the first time I stayed in the Times Square area. I started the search for a hotel in Soho and Meatpacking district, since these areas are my favorite in NY. I wasn’t sure about Times Square because it is touristic and super super busy, but I changed my mind.
The Paramount is located on West 46nd Street at 8th Ave, three blocks from the subway. The location is great! It’s close to all NY attractions and super close to Lincoln Center (very important for us). The hotel is designed by Thomas W. Lamb and redesigned by the firm Meyer Davis in March 2013. The hotel’s 597 guestrooms have been infused with modern design elements. The lobby is impressive. It’s chic but on the other hand hip, trendy and cozy. Despite the fact the hotel is big, it felt like home.
We had a double bed room, the room was comfortable, clean and big enough for the two of us (4 suitcases, with tons of clothing, accessoires and shoes so big enough for normal people). Next to the location and the design, the service from the reception and Paramount Bar & Grill (more about this restaurant soon) was great. My stay in NY was amazing, thanks to the Paramount NY.
