I started the preparations regarding the fashion weeks a couple of weeks ago. But I started the toughest challenge yesterday. Packing the suitcase and beauty cases. It’s not my favorite part of the job. I actually hate packing my suitcase especially now. One month, three different fashion weeks, 42 different looks, temperatures below zero and I’m allowed to check in 1 suitcase and 1 piece of hand luggage. I told you a tough challenge. But I did it before (last season) and I managed it! So, I started packing the beauty products (the easiest part). It’s impossible to photograph all the products so I made selection of the silver items.
La Prairie Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Dry Oil
I’m sure this will be my new bff. This oil, contains a rare cocktail of extracts that promise to turn back the clock by protecting skin from stress, pollution and freezing temperatures (OMG I’m afraid I can’t handle the cold weather in NY). There are three key ingredients to the formula: purple saxifrage, soldanella alpina and Swiss snow algae. Each of them thrives and survives at the highest altitudes of the Swiss Alps, and they keep growing even through the snow and ice. I just got it, so I can’t tell you my experiences about the product yet. I will come back to you asap, since the temperature will drop below zero in Amsterdam too.
Allure Homme Sport Eau Extrême
Yes, I do know this is a men fragrance. But I love to wear men fragrances and Allure Homme Sport is one of my favorites. Creator of the new Chanel edition is perfumer creator Jacques Polge who provided this characteristic combination made of musky shades, tart spices, aromatic freshness and masculine, woody accords. I love this interesting mix, it’s androgynous, sporty but sexy. This new travel format is perfect for this month of traveling.
Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Nourishing Lip Balm spf 20
An old time favorite. One of my favorite lip balms.
Sisley Phyto Lip Star
I’m a lipstick junkie and prefer lipstick because I love the long-lasting effect. I use this gloss over my lipstick to add that shimmering effect. The shimmering shine is amazing. Next to the shine the volume effect is beyond.
Sisley Phyto Touche Sun glow bronzing gel powder
I never put my bronzer away. In the summer to enhance a tan, and in the winter to warm up my pale or sallow complexion. I really recommend this powder. It’s feel like a second-skin. The finish is super natural.
