Karen Millen is transforming

How do you gain your inspiration for your articles and outfits? Thats a frequently asked question. Well, Street style is the biggest source of inspiration. Next to street style I get my inspiration from the runways, instagram, pinterest, blogs, magazines and not to mention campaigns. Sometimes the campaign and lookbook are even more inspiring than a photoshoot.

Karen Millen’s Autumn Winter 13 campaign is a good example of this. The campaign focuses on the brands changing style via a series of portraits that capture the diverse personalities of their new model faces. The campaign features four distinctive women; Karlina Caune, Kirsi Pyrhonen, Nur Hellmann and Grace Gao. The campaign is photographed by none other than British iconic photographer and artist, David Bailey and styled by Katy England. Katy worked as a Fashion Director at Dazed and Confused and for over ten years alongside Alexander McQueen. A cool concept, a super team an amazing result and not to mention a beautiful collection. This leather biker jacket for example. It has been causing me sleepless nights (it is amazing right?) But enough talking, check out the campaign video and get as much as enthusiastic as I am.
