Good Afternoon Guys, I hope you are enjoying your Saturday? I’m preparing this blogpost from the poolside. I’m having a really good time here in Turkey. Yesterday was such an amazing day. After breakfast at the Premier Solto Hotel we visited Çeşme. Çeşme is a sea-side resort town on the Aegean coast, close to Izmir. (on the west-side of Turkey), opposite the Greek island of Chios.
We walked around, we did some shoppings (I bought a beautiful ceramic plate for my new home in Milan) we met some locals, enjoyed a turkish coffee and walked down the boulevard.

Next to Çeşme, we discovered another town. Alaçatı. A town on the western coast of İzmir. Alaçatı is one of the most authentic towns in Turkey, famous for its architecture, vineyards and windmills for over 150 years. I did some research and I wrote some articles. Many people recommend Alaçatı as the new Saint Tropez in the Mediterranean. That has long been discovered by the savvy windsurfers from all around the world. Trust me, they were more than right. I didn’t know what to expect, I was very curious about this little town. I fell in love from the moment I left the taxi. The restored stone houses in pastel colors, the small streets, the cute but cool boutique hotels, the large number of cafes and cozy restaurants, the mix between boutiques and market stalls. We walked around for hours. (We are going back this afternoon to take more pictures). The atmosphere is amazing. It was super hard to choose a restaurant for dinner. At the end, we found a place. Trust me, one of the most inspiring , cute, cool, cozy and amazing quality food restaurants ever. Asma Yaprağı (the vine leaf). It was late, so too dark to take pictures. I promise you, we will go back to take some pictures. I will write a review about my experience at this amazing place. This is a must must visit! One of the best hotspot I discovered in months!
