Crystals, sequins, pastel colors, floral printed tableware, antique books, beautiful flowers a magical world. I’m talking about the Antonio Marras concept store located in via Cola di Rienzo, Milan. The store has been created within an old factory/workshop.
I visited the store two months ago. When I was visiting Milan for design week. I’m a big fan of Antonio Marras and his designs. His poetic instinct for the romance and drama of fashion. Every collection is an obsessively detailed production, from the invitations for the show to the clothing. So, I was super excited to see the store.
Entering the store felt like entering a fairy world. I loved the the contrast between the magical collection and the authentic elements of the old factory building. Next to the clothing the store offers also ceramics, flowers, vintage furniture, vintage artworks, antiquarian and art books. There is a library, a coffee bar and café in the store where you can taste Sardinian delicacies. Delicacies selected by mr. Marras himself. Amazing, like the collection, the store, the atmosphere, the concept. Trust me, visiting the Antonio Marras store is more interesting than the Duomo.
